June 15, 2014 - Fathers day dinner, this bottle was a bit tired, but it had stayed under the cottage all winter without phyisical effects. Dark mushroom flavors, completely resolved.

January 10, 2010 - Fully mature, cant say NSG is my fav CdN but this is really a solid interesting bottle with a beef bourg/coq au vin, , orangy rim, the nose gives strong wet earth, star anise and hints of tar, the taste is dark beefy, plummy fruit, some acidity peeks through with a medium long finish, I like this a lot, and the 20 years wait was worth it. Tannins resolved. Drink it, but it does have 2-5 years. will not appeal to those who only drink sweet clean cherry cola wines.
