April 9, 2020 - Second bottle from a lot purchased recently at auction. The first bottle turned out to be a 2016, this one is (according to the number printed on the top of the cork) two years older. It is a pretty weird wine, even more extreme than the 2016, spiced honey and cocktail bitters, candied strawberries, sort of sweet and sour, with more than a hint of phenolic grip. I am not sure that I like this. Not much fun and not rated. Probably too old?
