Community Tasting Notes 2

January 17, 2024 - Purple colour. Earthy nose - bit of funk but that blows off. Somewhat austere palate, and on opening it kind of washes out at the finish. A bit of air really brings it together - still somewhat austere perhaps but the acid comes in and it starts to become slightly thrilling - and the finish gets longer and denser. The last sip was by far the best. Suspect that this is just coming into the zone - no harm to drink now but I think it’s only improving.

December 6, 2023 - A single bottle now drinking well. There’s dark berries, cherry liqueur, eastern spice with mineral dark notes. A smokeness on the finish. Very good indeed.
