January 10, 2021 - Young but coming along nicely. No sediment. Took about 5 hours in the decanter with periodic aggressive swirling to finally deliver the balanced complexity we know. Delicious and when it finally opened, could not keep my nose out of the glass which is the basis for my rating. No hurry here and if you don't have the time to let it open up, wait. For those that don't know, this older vineyard is at about 1000 ft elevation on the western slope of what is known as Mt. Veeder on the eastern side in Napa.

September 9, 2020 - A well-made Cab from a very top Sonoma vineyard. This has good crunchy acidity to go along with the rich Cab flavors of ripe cassis and sweet black fruits. Warm and inviting but not jammy with a finely-structured finish and firm, grippy tannins. Delicious now but should also age fairly well.

July 5, 2020 - Nice bottle. Nothing spectacular, but went well with steaks. Did open up with some time in the glass.
