  April 29, 2024 - Possibly still too young - very tight and tannic, even with an hour of air. A bit better on day two but still not as open as could be. Wait until 2027?

  January 29, 2024 - Dark color, fruity nose. After 2 hours still limited on the palate, some decent red fruit , raspberry, some vanilla: shy. Medium but tannic finish. Not yet developed?

  August 26, 2022 - Very dense in the eye and in the nose. Bordeaux style, a bit more modern.
  Very good to drink. Drinking well after an hour (for a 92+) but can well imagine a 93 if this has seen more air. This should provide pleasure for a further decade...

  March 8, 2022 - Color: Deep ruby. Nose: A bit subdued. Dark fruit. Menthol, too. Mouth: Good length. Very good expressiveness. Drying finish. Tannins are a bit harsh and drying. Lacking a bit harmony. However it is still a very good wine. Better after some aeration and with food. Now there is dried flowers and blackberries.

  September 7, 2021 - More elegant and balanced than the Garrafeira. Both cuvees are near the top wines in Dao. Both were hood enough for me to carry back from Portugal.
