Complex nose, smoky coniferous heathland, hoisin, roses.
Weightless, feminine palate, no apparent tannin, cassis, red currant, limestone mineralite, really delicious. -

April 19, 2023 - Good cork, Some very fine deposit which could be stired up easily. Lovely floral nose. Shows solid vintage, generous flavour, excellent balance, still a tiny bit grippy to my taste. Extremely enjoyable. Two more bottles, +a few years.

December 23, 2020 - Very nice wine- light on its feet but shows some depth. A bit rustic/earthy but packs a lot of bright red fruit, herbal tea and nice acidity with an easy to drink finish.

July 27, 2018 - A bright, pure, engaging wine with just a hint of Santenay rusticity, otherwise dark red fruited, floral, rose perfume, spice, wet stone mineralite, concentrated but weightless, very nice indeed.

Lovely rich soft fruit with silky tannins and lovely minerality.
