October 14, 2023 - Was disappointed from my previous tastings of this bottle. Solid showing, but crumbly corks and significant sediment made the initial experience challenging. We did enjoy the dark plum bouquet and everyone recognized the beauty of the vino. Aged CAB Franc is a wonderful unique option and La Jota is an exceptional Producer.

March 1, 2023 - Solo CAB Franc continues to deliver even after 25 years of age. Always consider vino from great producers. Really enjoyed this showing.

January 28, 2023 - Heavenly nose of soft red fruit, sweet unsmoked pipe tobacco and cedar chest. So much perfume on the nose it's almost intoxicating. Blind I would have guessed a great vintage of Dalla Valle cab sauv from the 90s, as it has that same sweet yet complex fruit profile. Very balanced on the palate, almost perfect from start to finish. Finishes with a welcome tartness. What a beautiful wine; unfortunately it was my only bottle. 95-96

December 27, 2022 - Remains EXCEPTIONAL! A delightfully unique solo Cab Franc that shines after a short decant. Limited sediment; perfect aroma. Take your time and enjoy.

October 9, 2022 - Finally a beautiful moment to behold: my first La Jota cAB franc! Smooth and silky with a delightful floral waft upon opening. Improve significantly with decant. Perhaps a bit simple w a limited flavor profile but I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
