December 27, 2021 - Should you be interested, I’ve uploaded info for this vintage which you can peruse at your leisure. 😉
≈2.5 hrs slow ox; Private Preserve used after Day 1
N: Coffee & choc atop ripe plums; Slightly clsd init, swirling bringing out its intensity & showing its depth
P: NICE, ALMOST swtish frt which never loses touch with that swtnees as it SEAMLESSLY evolves into a LONG, balanced, quite ELEGANT finish, the wine's underlying structure coming out as it cleansed the P of the night's Standing Beef Rib Roast. A *lovely* bottle that's either @ its peak or very, VERY close.
// Day 2: ~ aromas & P substance, showing even better with the Beef Chili & Beans [HmMd] than it did solo!
// ∑: Strongly my EXC (92,93/100 using that metric), & should drink into '26 without difficulty.

February 7, 2020 - Cf. the CellarTracker Article link [lower lft] to get specific info for this vintage, including acclaim.
≈100 min decant into a plastic, cylindrical pitcher which was then partially closed. NO sediment noted
N: Fairly fragrant, varietal tom leaf slightly atop blk cherries with notes of pyrazines & hints of leather?
P: Med, poss LM, body; RNDISH entry with very NICE, ALMOST swtish, somewhat earthy frt met by an astringent pucker which stays within hailing distance of the init frt as it seamlessly transitions into a very LONG, BALANCED finish with a TANGY/swtness (60:40) to the fairly, innocuously firming, very, VERY fine tannins. While drinking nicely now™ with decanting, I can imagine further improvement into (& probably through) '22, then drinking into '26? My EXC/EXC+, trending toward the higher. An impressive food wine likely still on the upswing -- & ™this particular bottle had < "ideal" storage. [As of early Apr '20, wine-searcher still shows 5 sources from $70-$100].
Note: Also tasted on 8/4, 8/26, & 9/14/18, + 3/23/191 person found this helpful Comment -

September 21, 2019 - Way too light when pnp... after 12 hours with air this got some weight and complexity, fairly fun to drink. I will wait with my further bottles for at least 5 years
