November 18, 2022 - Popped, and aired in bottle for ~30-mins prior to serving. Started with funky (natural wine type), even barnyardy scents (not unlike a bottle of Beaucastel CdP that we had alongside, but this showed a lot "cleaner" than the Beaucastel) that was actually quite/somewhat appealing/interesting... but blew off after another 30-mins or so, where notes of violets, sour-cherries, plums & smoke then took over. Whoa, this exuded elegance (much to our surprise) on the palate with dark-fruits like black-berries, licorice & plums taking center-stage. Guesses centered mostly around Northern-Rhone, before it was finally revealed to be a Vaucluse IGP. Definitely a crowd pleaser and favourite.

November 14, 2021 - Nez incroyable, c'est parfumé, intense profond. Bouche en superbe équilibre. Belle matière et finale longue et suave. Vraiment excellent !

January 9, 2021 - 3 hours upon opening into Sydonios le Septentrional glass (“No” day): Pale garnet with purplish hues.

Perfume of juicy darker red plums, cherries and superior fine spectrum of spices like rosemary, cinnamon and white peppers. Really elegant nose.

Superbly textured on palate with good integration of acidity and tannins. Clean finish.

    93 points.
