April 3, 2021 - Lively and fresh with complex earthy and herbaceous notes medium body and mouth feel with cherry integrated undertones throughout and a steady long to medium long finish. Had a lot going on and still a good amount of acid that made it very good with small portion beef burgundy savory crepe. When I came back to it later it was even better. Some of the experts underestimated this wines life span.

December 23, 2016 - Rich, delicious and smooth. Dark fruit and spice flavors, very tasty stuff. At Bento Box in Chicago, thought it worked well with all the dishes.

February 16, 2013 - Black fruit, licorice, and spice box flavors, seamlessly integrated, smooth and delicious! Tannins still there, so could age a bit more, but it is drinking beautifully now.

October 29, 2012 - appearance - almost black
on the nose black fruit, black cherry, woodiness, licorice
on the palate fig, dark fruit, smoke, vanilla
body is full with firm tannins. long finish with some woody and nuttiness -
