The nose is quite complex, with a good balance between the red fruit and some herbal nose, the discrete notes from the barrique, and the forestfloor and meaty notes from the bottleage.
The acid is nicely restrained (not so often seen in this pricerange). Slight sweetness balancing the acid.
Drink now, not suitable for further ageing. -

February 3, 2019 - This is their no sulphur bottling and its is generous sweet and juicy. It has a slightly wild, sauvage character and plenty of florals with some smoky stems thrown in for good measure. Here for a good time not a long time.
