October 4, 2019 - Retail $25. Fresh-squeezed lemon, green apple, olive, and oak on the nose. Even though this was aged for 11 months in French Oak (40% new), this is far from a "traditional" California Chardonnay. Well-balanced between fruit, acid, and oak, this is fairly light on its feet and quite delightful. thedrunkencyclist.com

October 2, 2019 - Wednesday Night "Chardonnay" Blind Tasting (Miramonte Winery): Tasted blind. Darkest lemon color of the six blind Chards. Oak and buttery secondary aromas take precedent over the tropical fruit. Medium acidity; toast, vanilla and almond on the palate. Touch of heat from the 14.2% alcohol.

    Guessed to be from Napa.

December 1, 2018 - On the nose- Crisp apple, bartlett pear, hazelnut, lemon and lime, white flowers, oak and vanilla

On the palate- Crisp apple with hints of bartlett pear and hazelnut, fresh zesty lemon and lime, fresh white flowers, oak and vanilla, this wine is oily and pretty rich, and has a bit of butter on the finish as well, the alcohol is a bit much on this and makes it a bit disjointed with the fruit, but overall not a bad chardonnay and I think its better to drink this wine now and wont age well because of that flaw but overall probably better with food

October 19, 2017 - Perfect amount of Oak and not a Butterbomb. Smooth, elegant, and would pair with a variety of foods from poultry to seafood. Nice.

October 6, 2017 - Wine Tasting Nightmare (Total Wine, Tempe, AZ): This is a totally manipulated Chardonnay, with too much oak. There was a strong bitter flavor that often comes from a malolactic fermentation that did not go as planned. This is rich and buttery, but the fruit is not fresh and it should have had more acidity. Way down on my list. For less money, try the Sonoma-Cutrer Sonoma Coast Chardonnay and experience a proper entry level oaked Chardonnay.
