October 1, 2017 - James Suckling - Great Wines of the Andes (The Presidio, SF): Ripe vanilla and terpenic nectarine with ripe tangerine fruit. Fresh nectarine on the palate palate with well integrated oak. Not reductive. Medium plus acid. High alcohol 14.5%. Phenolic Bitterness.
Like an oaked Albariño with malo - peach yogurt. Interesting. A good wine in a super ripe style.
50% in 2nd use French oak, the rest in steel.
