For a Aligote beside the tremendous acidity great volume and density. Popcorn, some roasted almonds, saline and refreshing. Close to his peak. 97

January 12, 2019 - Unmistakably d’Auvenay nose (more intense than the grape variety), opulent and fresh. Lemon, peach, white blossom, excellent salinity and minerals. On the palate reductive yet with a gentle balance. The exaggerating amount of acid throws me off a bit; perhaps it will change with time? 93
