November 14, 2018 - Meo-Camuzet Dinner (Daniel): Cherry, prune, pepper, good caramel, fungus, medium florals, much more animalistic and stem. Slightly acidic and flat on the palate but layers are there. 91

August 24, 2017 - Tasted in the Cellars at Adelsheim where Nicolas-Jay makes their wine at this time. This wine was tasted from barrel. It is 13% ABV with 50% new French oak treatment. It is a dark, slightly translucent ruby. On the nose I got mostly vanilla and spicy, black cherry. It has medium to high tannin and acidity and is quite layered with black cherry, minerals, and baking spice on the palate. The finish is long with more of that spicy cherry. It will need and flourish with a lot of bottle age, but my score reflects to some extent that future potential as well as the obvious depth already visible in the wine.
