March 12, 2024 - From 375mL. Deepish ruby color. Smells like dark and dark red fruits, cherry, barnyard funk, mushrooms, leather, lemon, cedar. Not sure, but I'd guess smaller oak barrels here. Light to medium body, fairly high acidity, medium (+) length, and flavors of cherry, lemon, black tea and some other dry leaves, mouth drying, woody notes. Agree with previous reviews that it's a little out of balance—high acid and tanning, a bit woody, and light on fruit.
