September 17, 2023 - This is the seventh vintage of this wine, which I’ve enjoyed going back to 2008. Always consistent across vintages, comprised of Cabernet Franc and Merlot. Drinking well at this juncture, well into development. Enjoyed with Cajun chicken, penne pasta and garden salad. Still a few rough edges which should resolve over the next 18-24 months. I always love the intensity, evolving complexity, and big finish. Food friendly. Drink through 2028.

February 4, 2023 - Very nice bdx style Cali wine

December 16, 2022 - Went well with an Italian red sauce dinner. The PQR does not make it a good value wine.

December 4, 2022 - This is half of an excellent wine.

The half that's there: fruit, vanilla, cocoa. Great plush texture.

The half that's not: tannin and acid both pretty quiet at this point. The finish drops off relatively quickly.

I like a lot about this wine, and might rate it higher under different circumstances, but it was just missing a bit too much.

March 13, 2022 - Predominant cabernet franc adding complexity and nuance to this velvety blend. Open time 2 hrs. Paired perfectly with ribeye.
