August 25, 2021 - Popped and poured for Sam’s 60th. A very good showing with nice dark fruits great depth of flavors and nice spicy nuances. A tad earthy and showing perhaps a touch of oxidation otherwise magnificent. Very much a first growth Bordeaux with a Napa wrapper.

May 11, 2018 - Poured a dark garnet, with tiny hints of brick. Upon immediate tasting it was very powerful, with a heavy dose of cherry still left. After decanting for another 2 hours it mellowed out and the tertiary tobacco, forest floor, and licorice notes took center stage and lingered for almost a minute after drinking. An incredible wine!
