  July 24, 2023 - Dark fruit flavors, with a nice silky smooth oak finish. Everything a good merlot wants to be.

  July 17, 2023 - Tastes a bit old for a 2016 California Merlot….moldy dusty leather , muted blueberry ….not amazingly complex for this price point .

  January 30, 2022 - Nice fruit/acid balance, with good mouthfeel. Turns a bit flat and a little bitter on the finish. Not sure what that is.

  September 20, 2021 - Appearance - light ruby color, clear at edge, reflective, good body/legs - 3/3
  Aroma/Bouquet - Red plum, light spice, some light mineral tones, light heat/alcohol - 5/6
  Taste - Blueberry, plum, light tannins, light alcohol, some limestone/mineral, vanilla/oak - 5/6
  Aftertaste - long finish, blueberry fruit continues, tannins fade, mineral still on the back end - 3/3
  Overall - Good mix of fruit, tannins, alcohol, and acid, complex - 2/2
