November 23, 2023 - Enjoyed after a short decant. Very nice initially. Wine continued to improve and was downright next level 10 hours later. Mild tannins, full fruit, delicious.

February 18, 2023 - For starters this is a fantastic Napa cabernet. On the nose there is hints of raspberries, leather, tobacco, dark berries, and currant. Coloring is still deep garnet. To taste red berries, raspberry, strawberry, full body, acidity, with strong tannic backbone/structure. Such an amazing wine which was a starter to my new found collection directly started after our wonderful time spent in Napa this past summer. I can't wait to let my other bottle age to taste the wonderful evolution that it creates.
Pairing tonight with charcoal grilled lightly seasoned filet mignon cooked medium rare to medium with scalloped potatoes and cauliflower. -

November 18, 2022 - Tasted at winery in early fall. Recently paired with a porterhouse, sweet potato, broiled vegetables at Chez Korn. Excellent offering from Stag’s Leap, highlighted by mixed berries and spices. Suggest a three hour decant for this powerfully complex cabernet.
