June 17, 2017 - Clear, dark garner with orange rim, hundreds of fast-moving tears.
Clean, med+ intensity, aromas of strawberries, blackberries, chocolate, coffee, slight Hawthorne, and jus de boeuf
Dry, med- body, med tannins, med- acidity, med alcohol, with further tastes of blueberries, passimento grapes, dark plums, darkened caramel, and cooked cherries, slight pepper, and fig leaves. The scent of cherries on the finish is delightful, still drinking well at this age.
