March 22, 2024 - This wine was humming. Imagine you are at the Village Vanguard and Miles Davis shows up and does one of his best concerts of his life. Rich texture, great fruit but well balanced. I think it’s close to the ultimate cab. The taste lasted for well over a minute.
Perfect structure between fruit and tannins. Can I order another case ?

October 13, 2023 - Best Napa cab I have drank in a while. Double decanted 4 hrs, it was hitting on all cylinders. Tannins resolved, mostly red fruits, long, delicious.

August 13, 2023 - Showed a lot of oak upon opening. Make sure you give this plenty of air. Love the black current fruit on the nose, with some elegant red fruit highlights. Palate is dense with rather prominent if refine tannins and a lengthy finish. I think this can still soften and add complexity but is really enjoyable now. A little blue fruit comes out on the finish. If opening now needs 2+ hours in the decanter to show well.

August 29, 2022 - 100% Moulds Vineyard fruit...open in bottle for a 4 hrs, then took to dinner. Started out massively blue fruited and tightly structured with saliva sucking tannins...but with air, it magically became more red fruited and softened up wonderfully! Drank SO well with a ribeye...just gorgeous liqueured black cherry, raspberry, kirsch...with some ripe blueberry as well...pretty florals and white pepper barrel spice...graphite dryness...very mouth coating and impressive length. The fruit is SO pure..and with that air...really seamless balance. Forgot how rare this vintage is...so there goes my only bottle with a little regret. Many more years ahead for this beauty!
