November 20, 2021 - “This wine is a blend of 3 different vineyards located in the Willamette Valley in Oregon. The grapes were fermented with native yeast and 100% whole clusters then aged on its lees for 11 months in 20% new French oak barrels. This Winemaker’s Cuvée is the result of a meticulous selection of the best barrels in the cellar based on harmony, complexity and mouth feel.”

    13.8% abv.
    Diam10.

    Ruby color with some translucence.
Nose dense dark fruit with some forest notes.
Palate initially some vanilla oak, then nice black cherry with some flesh, a mineral rocky backbone.

Substantive, could go a few more years imo. Bittersweet as it was purchased after the winemaker's unfortunate passing, but a fitting tribute to his craft

March 14, 2020 - Velvet. Perfect balance. Sour cherry, earth, moderate tanins, smooth finish.

Jesus was extremely talented and warm.
