November 20, 2020 - From memory, really nice medium-ripe Chinon, delicious with our stout-braised beef stew.

December 13, 2017 - Fresh, red-fruited Chinon. Very nice.

October 10, 2017 - Not much to like at this stage. Loved the VV from this producer (less time in wood and less expensive); this, however, is a different style. Lighter, more acidic and less expressive. Very anonymous and slightly chemical at the outset, it tightens up and offers little of interest. Best to hold it for a few years and hope something comes through, but hard to imagine that if this bottle is representative.
Day 2 and not much happening, watery and tart lacking the vibrant, fruit and smoke form the VV. Blind, I would have no idea from where this wine comes - hope this was an off bottle, but for now go with the VV
