November 30, 2019 - PR 1969 Extravaganza: Caramel, tobacco and marmalade on the nose. Palate is well balanced, with plenty of sweetness but also good detail and length.

October 6, 2018 - Smells of burnt caramel, molasses and sweet raisin. It is super-sweet and luscious, with the texture of 40W70 motor oil. There is acidity buried below all the sweet things but one small glass is enough.

August 26, 2017 - Tasted blind. Quite a dark amber brown. Oxidized obviously but not dead. Good sweetness and acidity, with notes of black tea.

February 4, 2017 - Post Festa Dinner at Hearth

A botrytis bomb on the nose. Honey, floral, citrus and orchard fruits, and a ton of botrytis. The nose is beguiling as it gains focus after bring open a while. On the palate, at first it’s all a little too much, but with time in the glass, it gains focus and depth. Rich and deep, with layers upon layers, it comes into balance but not quite perfect harmony The acid is well balanced to the I am certain high amount of RS. Overall, the nose is fantastic but the palate doesn’t quite deliver what the nose promise. Beautiful and maybe more impressive than amazing. 93

June 30, 2016 - Dark Amber in color. Sweetness is offset by huge acidity. Imagine very sweet iced tea with lots of lemon... This was it.
