October 28, 2022 - Wimps Free For All - October 2022 Oruro (La Trompette): Some redcurrant and toast on the nose.
On the palate more redcurrant and cranberry. Lovely intensity and good acidity -

October 28, 2022 - Wimps Free For All - October 2022 Oruro (La Trompette): Second from my case. Lovely nose - hint of chocolate . Again, this tar like core. Slightly drying at the end. Lovely red fruit - this is a lovely wine, just starting to come into its own. The winemaker mentioned that it hasn’t even started exhibiting savoury characteristics yet - and I get that. Will try to hold onto my remaining bottles for a while yet…

February 24, 2022 - "Running" Club Nouveau et Ancien Monde; 2/24/2022-2/25/2022 (La Trompette): Lovely colour. Earthy but ever so slightly confected nose. Savoury on the palate. Still young. Amazing value.
