Community Tasting Notes 1

June 25, 2022 - Light, translucent and a light brick red color with almost tawny hues.
Decanted and showing no trace of visible sediment.
The nose shows good intensity in the aromas revealing scents of dried rose petal, coriander, tobacco, herbs and sea breeze qualities that give way to notes of bramble, wild strawberry, dried cranberry, light pepper nuances, baking spice and cedar with hints of tar.
The high-toned palate shows a high level of piercing acidity, and moderate+ drying tannins. Light bodied across the palate revealing lithe flavors of dried rose petal, dried cranberry, wild raspberry and strawberry notes that bring in nuances of herbs, coriander, spice, tobacco, leather, cedar and forest floor. The finish lingers with intensity.

I swear this thing resembles a higher-end Langhe Nebbiolo or even a Barbaresco more that it does an Oregon Pinot from the '14 Vintage.
