March 15, 2019 - Fruit and some funk up front with a deep, earthy core and a nice quick finish. Yum.

October 30, 2018 - A strong whiff of VA which did not blow off. It's wild and I suspect not for everyone as a result. A little bit of heat on the finish, but the tannins are quite supple and there's possibly just a small lack of acidity. A decent effort and about the right price, but overall lacking precision. Nevertheless, it remains very drinkable.

September 3, 2017 - A depth of lively but noble freshness.

June 24, 2017 - Sweet, wild nose: wild berries, summer wild flowers, dark caramel. More of the same on the palatte but in a more serious and subdued frame with nice open, minerally space in the middle, until the overt, cherry-pit finish that sails on with warm vivacity, complexity, and evolution. This fresh wine totally won me over. Roughly 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon with a dollup of Cabernet Franc in there for good measure. Drink now - 2019.
