  September 20, 2023 - First pure poulsard. Very light ruby core with a touch of bricking at the rim. Funky off the top, showing some mousiness, bramble, strawberry, red cherry, leather, little bit of cinnamon, some woody herbs. Reminds me a lot of moulin-a-vent, almost feels like carbonic/semi-carbonic maceration and just has that minerally feel. Very welcome frizzante (lack of SO2 before bottling will do that!) Medium acidity, light and slick body, velvety tannins. Decent length. Very well made

  August 3, 2019 - Very reduced, even after decanting, but when that blows off the wine shows beautiful fruit balanced with lively acidity and focus. Complex herbal and mineral notes too. Great Poulsard.
