September 18, 2021 - Black fruit, cedar, herbal notes, spice, layered complexity, tannin. Tannin seemed big for 2009. It was well balanced. A

March 28, 2015 - Enjoyed with a bit Porterhouse. Great leathery tones, strong structure and fruit. This will last.

September 25, 2014 - wow on the front...wow on the back....an elevated big fat Napa cab.
Fruit forward yet smooth as silk.

April 12, 2014 - Deep dark ruby color with an endless nose of ripe dark berries, incense, and violets. The plush palate exhibits a full alcoholic throttle and a velvety texture with a youthful tannic grip. Flavors of black currant, dark cherry, plum sauce, liqueur, saddle leather, and cigar box form the core. This really has good potential - leaning on a formidable structure and balanced by lively acidity. Finishes long and fragrant with hints of espresso. Drink from 2017 to 2032.

March 11, 2014 - Drank this two hours after opening on a fishing trip in Alaska. By far the best cab of the week. Complex, great on the mouth, and even better on the back end. A high end expression of the great Napa cabs. Pretentiously priced, but I must admit, it's worth the cost. A big fat WOW cab.
