October 10, 2022 - starting to show some bricking around the rim, the nose is really terrific with cedar, spice, light floral notes. Tannins are still quite assertive and a bit drying. Fruit seems to be fading, so depending on how you like these will determine further cellaring. I've got three left, and will open then over the next few years to see if this goes anywhere (and by few, I probably mean 10 or so).

September 24, 2022 - I like it a lot, brick orange around the rim, It is typically from Gatinara wine, perfectly balances ,floral , spices and earthy.

May 14, 2022 - Not a style of wine I enjoy. Very leathery and tannic. I am obviously an outlier here. Tasted against two 2001 Riservas. This 2000 is rounder than the 2001s.

April 8, 2021 - The wine have a finesse and freshness . Produce quality wine, tasting of tar and roses and this elegant .This full bodies wine has a red fruits and herbal flavors buoyant and long tasting in the mouth.
