November 26, 2023 - This is a classy wine - and after 4 - 5 hours open, subtle, regal and even reserved. Black cherry, some blackberry and even at this young age some secondary characteristics such as smoke and cedar and cigar/leather. But it’s SO primary - what’s it going to be in ten years? I predict great things - and fortunately have five more bottles. If I have any sense, I’ll wait until at least 2028 to try again. I think it has tremendous potential.

July 24, 2022 - Juicy black cherry is the core of the aromas and flavors. Bolstered with licorice and baking spice notes. Resolved tannins. Decanted one hour.

April 10, 2021 - Elegant and different from the typical high end Napa with Dark cherry, blackberry, dark chocolate and spice. This is a beautiful medium body made in a bordeaux style and has grainy tannins. Well made. Approachable now but will also be for a decade or two. Wife had a bad week and wanted something good! Happy she enjoyed it. NI:4, FI:22, FC:9, B:4, L:3

October 7, 2020 - Lots of promise here! Fresh currant, capsicum, espresso, oak, and smoke. Nicely rich but balanced and zippy on the palate. This could develop very well indeed.
