February 21, 2024 - Enjoyed about 2 hours after a double decant. A bit lighter than some younger Barolo's, but was fragrant, and flavorful. Sophisticated nose of briar, sage, rosemary, bramble, etc. Followed by a medium density mouthfeel and fully integrated tannins, with currents, Christmas spice, dark ripe cherries, etc. Can age longer, but is drinking beautifully now! Was the group's 3rd place wine out of 12 great wines! Went great with my Ribeye, and pasta/bolognese sauce at Ca Dario Montecito.

November 2, 2022 - Still going strong after 22 years. Lots of life left in this wine. Ruby colour. Hints of cherry.
