April 19, 2018 - The wine looks ruby colored and the legs are slow. It smells like cherry, chocolate, tobacco and raspberry. It tastes like cherry, caramel, butter and a touch or sweetness of a strawberry. The body is medium. The wine has polished texture and finishes long. The wine has medium acidity and low/medium tannin.
This is a great wine. We decanted it for 15 minutes before trying it. We paired it with a pepperoni pizza which was great together. For a Sangiovese and Toscana lover this is a great match. It is a nice light and bright wine. We tried the 2014 vintage and liked it but we definitely like the 2015 more. We really enjoyed this wine.
