October 15, 2018 - I’ve revisited this twice since my first note. Had it with seafood (lobster) and grilled salmon. It rocked each time, standing up to these rich flavors with lovely fruit. Upping my rating. Good juice, good price.

April 15, 2018 - Pleasant quaffer. Nice roundish fruit, low acid.
I would like a bit more acid/tartness to give it backbone. But for the price, this is hard to beat.

July 29, 2017 - Winebar [4 Whites & 6 Reds] from 07/28/17 (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA): N: Slightly closed; Potentially attractive melange of toast/mushrooms/pineapples with notes of honey. VERY fragrant after 4 hrs in a small tasting glass!

P: MF, poss Med, body; Rndish entry with almost swtish frt met by balancing acidity, this morphing into a LONG, toasty/honied finish with a VERY slight bitterness on the very end. Tight now, but certainly there's potential for greatness IF there's frt enough for waiting into (& poss through) '19. 89 pts WS. [Tasted @ $47.95, which is likely out of stock. However, mid-June 2018's wine-searcher still show one source @ $70.]

July 17, 2017 - Medium golden yellow in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of apples, pears & citrus notes of lemons/limes with overtones of floral notes of honeysuckle & minerals, stony, roasted hazelnuts & a subtle hint of smoky/toasty oak. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of apples, pears & lemons/limes with minerals, flinty, stony & a hint of toasty oak. Long lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present but has the structure, ripe fruit & depth to develop further with additional aging.

July 15, 2017 - CA Chards vs. White Burgundies (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA): N: Slightly closed; toast, poss mushrooms, slightly atop tropical (pineapples?) frt

P: Med, poss LM, body; Rndish entry with almost swtish frt met by VERY slightly bitter acidity, this only somewhat resolving by the QUITE LONG, VERY slightly tangy/very slightly bitter finish. Tight, NEEDS time (until '19... min?), but the frt for that?
