July 6, 2017 - Flight on a flight (SFO-AKL) (AirNZ): Medium minus ruby color.
Medium minus intensity, dark-fruited, slightly reductive black cherry nose.
Dry, medium body, medium alcohol - feels 13% (correct - 13%), medium acid, low tannins.
A bit flat on the palate with some muddy, indistinct black cherry fruit. A bit rustic and bitter on the finish. The fruit character is a bit dirty.
