Community Tasting Notes 6

June 9, 2020 - Pale lemon. Lots of oak on nose, lemon, red apple, blossom, honey, white peach, butter, brioche. Fresh acidity, medium bodied and long finish. Perhaps too much oak but on palate remains complex and lifted

April 13, 2020 - This is upfront and onedimensional. Too much oak . Too little finesse. Yes there is acid but no real caracter. International made. Not my wine.

May 28, 2019 - Pale lemon with a pronounced nose and developing notes. Vanilla, cream, bread, apple, pear. Medium+ acid, body with high intensity / pronounced favour. Tasting at Domaine du Chateau de Meursault.

June 25, 2018 - Château de Meursault Cellar Visit and Tasting (Day 2, Visit 4) (Château de Meursault): Tasting at the domaine. Apple throughout with very good depth, some nuance emerging nicely. Starting to unfold on finish. I liked this more today vs when last tasted one year ago.

February 6, 2018 - During a La Paulee walkabout tasting, so only brief impressions. From Jeroboam. Mineralic, light, elegant, I wish for some more complexity given the famous vineyard. Good but the Puligny in the line up was better.
