February 25, 2024 - Wow. Perhaps my wine of the year for now. Far better than I was expecting and the best La Tache I have had by some margin. The 16 was balanced and super cool with its phenolic greeness. Perfect harmany with the fruit and delicious young stems. A wine that has so much energy and terrior - hard to find anything to complain about here.

醒酒3小时有余，刚开始有着轻微烤肉的味道，随着杯中同空气接触，慢慢散去。华丽的花香，各种花香演绎着不同的色彩，贯穿于香气始终，前段的薰衣草、丁香花，从一而终绽放着的玫瑰花丛和纷飞的玫瑰花瓣，后段修饰着，生于溪边暗处的桂花，构成了似锦彩练，时而渗透果味内部，时而在外周萦绕。果味有着凝实而向心的深度，红樱桃、黑樱桃、黑莓等等，乃至轻微的橘子皮和血橙，中段开始有着明显的当归、香根草、干参、焚香、麝香、松露和乌木之类的味道，复杂之极，构成了有些夸张的躯体。口感集中度很高，有着很大的结构，单宁多而细密，包裹覆盖着口腔，将整体托举为一悬浮而充满向心力和深度的球体，浓郁成熟的果味有力非常，各种红色的和黑色的果味组合在一起，向内开辟一深邃的空间，内里还有雪松、香根草、胡椒粒、檀木、硬乌木，在我们饮用它的2个小时里，还在不断发生变化，似乎坚硬的木质里，生长出了清新而带着露珠的玫瑰以及树莓，这又是别一番体验，收尾非常长而有力。97-98/1001 person found this helpful Comment -

I guessed both wines right. I would "go" with the Conti but most of the more Burgundy experienced people at the table preferred the LT. Lt is spicier and wilder while the other one is more elegant and subtle. Great experience. Thanks Ingo. 982 people found this helpful Comment -
