    January 27, 2024 - Stunning wine ... 100% Bobal

Dark in color, smelled like black ink to me.
Very smooth and sexy in mouth, 14% alcohol which is low I assume for this region.
Good long finish ... for a wine under 23€, this is great value.

Drink or hold for me ... however believe its at peak for enjoyment right now.

July 10, 2020 - Been quite a while since I dipped into this varietal, my mistake. Hour and a half decant, the nose is dark fruit, spices and some floral elements. The palate is superbly balanced, with a peppery note that is interlaced with blackberry and spices, with slightly grippy tannins and tangy acidity. Medium bodied with a bigger mouthfeel and a longer finish, this has great distinction for a relatively affordable bottle. Bobal is back on my radar again.

October 3, 2019 - Pure and elegant with a spice component on the back. Clean and crunchy.

September 16, 2019 - Dry farmed vineyards from the 1940s and 1950s. Looking for a concentration that comes from the plant. Black pepper and spice on the nose,

A typical rustic varietal - thick skin, difficulties to ripe to optium pips,

    meat tarmack blood iron

Here they are looking for more verticality and

    Grape crunchiness

    June 19, 2019 - Very disappointed.
First time I try this wine why I did not know what to expect although other reviews set a certain level of exception.
Had Valencia wines before that were too big and alcoholic lacking acidity and freshness.
This one were one dimensional with little fruit and medium body. Pronounced tannins and acidity but lacking charm and out of balance.
I suspect this could be a "semi-bad" bottle...
