September 9, 2023 - France Trip: Paris, Champagne, Burgundy; 9/3/2023-9/17/2023 (Paris, Champagne, Burgundy): Medium red color. This had been open for a couple hours. Drank a glass over 90 minutes at the apartment in Beaune. Nicely perfumed, soft nose of deep berries, ripe cherry; so pretty and exquisite on the palate, very nice purity here, well spiced, a little touch of green herbs, long. Really good, nice choice Lonny. 93+ to 94pts.

August 27, 2022 - I was hesitant to open this wine after reading the other CT tasting notes. However, I am so glad that I did because it was awesome! The color fooled me because of its light ruby color so I was expecting a lighter bodied Burg. However, it had a wonderful concentration of fruit & power. It reminds me of a 1er cru Pommard in how it expresses itself. The tannins were round and silky smooth on the finish. I decanted this for 2 hours before tasting and I believe this helped the tasting experience.
