July 25, 2023 - This wine has aged well. Still a bit green, and has a vibrant acidity. But the flavors have mellowed and integrated.

November 24, 2018 - Different than most Anderson Valley pinots; not the typical bright cherry flavor. Underripe fruit, slightly green flavor, and fairly acidic. I'm looking forward to seeing how this wine evolves over the next couple years.

September 2, 2018 - Notes are from day 2.... Lighter body in the glass, a brick hue to it, quite translucent and that's pleasant. The nose is loaded with ripe cherries, vanilla, eucalyptus, herby, sandalwood. Its a great nose, hypnotic. The palate picks up where the nose left off however with a touch more thonk (sour) in the fruit. Medium acidity, nice smooth tannins, lasting finish driven by great fruit. Its a winner in my book.

July 4, 2017 - Anderson Valley, July 2: Aromas of fig, sandalwood, wet stones, dried hibiscus and eastern spice. Richly elegant palate with layered secondary flavors, medium-plus acidity, fine-grained tannins and an expansive finish. Excellent.
