April 16, 2019 - Dark damask red. Nose of sweet tobacco, black pepper, truffles, dark berry fruit. Medium full-bodied; tannic edge, sweet tobacco/leather, hint of sultana fruit.

October 16, 2018 - Very sweet (I thought Amarone was supposed to be dry?!) tasting of dark molasses, demerara sugar and cherry-flavoured cough syrup. But also stalky and green. All a bit sickly - barely drinkable actually. I think this vintage has come to the end of its life.

December 22, 2015 - Powerful with hints of cherry and chocolate. Excellent length but the alcohol not overpowering. Amazing value as I bought it with a double discount offer and glad to say I have several more bottles to enjoy.

December 18, 2015 - Ruby coloured with a hint of garnet, this wine has black fruit and spice on the nose. On the palate there is bags of concentrated black fruit, no doubt a result of using partially dried grapes, spice and hints of chocolate. Tannins, while present, are fairly mellow. This is a great wine for the price.
