  July 20, 2023 - I keep looking for that elusive Côte-Rôtie that surprises. Unfortunately, this one wasn't it. I found the nose to be almost indistinguisable (no, I'm not Covid+), and the taste was flat and uneventful. Maybe an off bottle. Maybe not. Maybe it will come to life with some air.

Most of the fruit aromas are gone and the nose is mainly savory (olives and pancetta) with some tilled earth. The palate displays medium acid and medium tannin that is well integrated.   September 9, 2021 - This is exactly what an entry-level Cote Rotie should be. The concentrated fruit is balanced by herbal notes and real structure. Moderate in weight and intensity, this is classically proportioned and satisfying with food.
