September 1, 2023 - Bottle breathe for 45 min. Opened up after another 45 min in the glass. The nose contained ripening red fruit, and rather condensed (because of VV?). The palate was initially quite oaky and woody, but become smooth when it opened up. The nose is fully blossomed after 1h30m in the glass. Medium finsihing.

January 14, 2023 - Nose: Cherry, game, hoisin sauce, menthol, spices
Notes: Believe this is the first vintage of this cuvee. Relatively light bodied for this appellation, the 2011 Evocelles is perhaps a little diluted for standards from this Domaine and certainly does not possess the intensity of the better crus from this Domaine, I believe this could be due to the characteristics of the vintage as well. Rather than saying that this is a small version of its 1er Cru I would think that it is a much inferior version of it and I don't think this can represent the Domaine well. In terms of maturity I think this wine is still very energetic and should last well for the next 10 years.

February 25, 2019 - perfectly fine to me, though others picked out stalkiness and were even able to guess the vintage

July 18, 2017 - nose :Mint, pepper, herbs ,a bit gamey
Palate quite supple, pepper, gamey, round, a bit tannin finished with liquorice, medium finish.
Not high in complexity but ok for village wine in this price, need 3 hrs to open up.

December 22, 2016 - this is difficult to score since it seemed to be a bit astray, maybe because of travelling the week before.
The nose and taste is initially dominated by lacquer, was not very extrovert and did not seem balanced. After some time in the glass the wine came together and was more coherent.
Other notes did appear and I am sure that with time this wine will be better and more interesting so the score is really not a final score.
