October 24, 2008 - We opened up the bottle the night before, so plenty of air helped to open it up. A dark dense wine, with an abundance of forward fruit, mainly plums and a little cherry. There is also a slight hint of chocolat in the flavor. The alcohol content is high (14,9%), but it is well masked by all the nice fruit. A delicious Zin!

October 14, 2007 - Inky dark, nice legs. Closed, grenache-like nose that opens up as the wine warms, but doesn't become overpowering. Remarkably restrained for a zin, but very flavorful. Good structure and balance. Long finish. Drinking well now, but, sadly, my last bottle. Very good to excellent.
