  May 28, 2018 - Alcohol comes through a bit strong on first sip but mellows after an hour or so after opening. Dark fruits with moderate tannins and medium finish.

  July 26, 2015 - excellent fruit. Hint of dried flowers and vitamin C tablets. A bit bitter and still reduced upon opening. This opens after 90 mins or so. Chewy tannins and cleansing acidity. A bit of alcoholic burn on the finish.

  February 28, 2014 - really wonderful, aromatic bouquet, decanted and then only improved over two hours, delicious fruit, clean after taste and no heat even though 14.5%, strictly for the benefit of others we opened a 05 bordeaux to compare and the syrah won out
