A lush and opulent wine with aromas of red apple, white flowers, and more oak than I prefer
Not much tension or cut
Not my preferred style of white burgundy, but it reflects the nature of the vintage well -

June 24, 2018 - Musique & Vin Pre-Concert Dégustation (Château du Clos de Vougeot): Tasting, brief note. Ripe stone fruit comes across as fun and easy, but there is a sneaky substance and weight here that makes this truly worthwhile for its level. Probably even better in another year+.
