  November 15, 2019 - I found my last bottle!!! Gus Anderson was a friend and one of the first people I got to know in Napa. He looked to create a cab that stood up to the great Bordeaux’s. This wine has more than stood the test of time. Over a 60 second taste profile. A remarkable wine that blows away a lot of what comes out of France. I will always cherish my memories of and wines made by him.....

  November 15, 2019 - Well integrated. Soft tanins. Black fruit, earthy, and a big fan favorite.
  
  Still has plenty of life left in it. Decanted for 90 minutes before consuming with steaks.

  February 28, 2015 - Very earthy and black fruit. Tannins have softened, but not my preferred style. Relatively long finish.

  November 10, 2013 - Wow! The last bottle had a cork problem and needlessly concerned about this bottle. What a wonderfully integrated, powerhouse of a wine. Those silky tannins danced on my palate for at least 45 secs. I am so sorry to see that Gus has once again retired! I will treasure my remaining stock of Eagle Trace and look forward to his grandchildren bringing this label back to life!
