July 11, 2020 - Rich cassis and oil-cured olive come through clearly even with the very high alcohol character. Finishes quickly with drying tannins. Unless this opens up dramatically I could not imagine drinking more than half a glass of this. If it does I'll come back and amend this.

June 23, 2011 - My review is a combination of Loweeel and glowe8. Wine has evolved some over the years and is enjoyable but is overpowered by the alcohol.

March 27, 2011 - Wow, this a big wine, very dark, with black fruits, chocolate, some spice, a lot of oak and tons of vanilla. Not for the faint at heart!!

May 19, 2010 - Nice tasty dark fruits, a bit over-oaked. Big, but flabby on the back end -- needed more tannin and acid. One dimensional, but delicious.
