December 20, 2020 - Mid gold. The nose shows some orange blossom, a slight toasty note, a hint of butter and restrained fruit. Palate: citrus flavours are prominent. Nice creamy mouthfeel. Finish persists. Very good.

May 13, 2020 - Great tonight with fresh halibut. My longtime Byerlys fish guy John, was unpacking the halibut this morning as I arrived so got a terrific piece of halibut to pan sear in cast iron. Paired fantastic with this killer white Burg. PnP in Riedel Montrachet glasses. Green tinged light gold color. Faint match stick and perfuse citrus & mineral on the nose. For village level Meursault this showed excellent concentration, balance, weightless energy and finesse. Whatever oak this sees is well dialed back. Elegant layers of citrus, stone fruit and classic minerality. Delicious and outstanding value for the $50 I paid. This would give many a more renowned producer a run for the money. 13% alc. Then again, it didn't hurt that we were enjoying our favorite white fish with it :).
